Your website as a resource

Posted by Shoshana

Terrific Tuesday to you. I wanted to share a very quick thought today. What if your website was a resource? What if people went to your site, not just to find out about your upcoming events or new art, etc., but to learn about your art form. What if you were able to be listed in search engines due to being a resource? Would you sell more art, tickets? Could you receive more donations?

Resources can be:

  • A podcast
  • Videos
  • Database of knowledge
  • A blog

Your resources can talk about:

  • Your art form
  • The people involved
  • How to information
  • Other information your audience would like to hear about (just ask them!)

It is becoming very important to position yourself on the internet and do what you can to cut through the noise. Being a resource outlet can make a difference!

Cheers to happy and loyal audiences,
Shoshana

Testimonials

Arizona Women’s Theatre Company (AZWTC)

“I loved the sessions and as I was taking them for my newly elected position, I felt I needed some close mentoring and strict goal setting..She absolutely did listen to our needs and tailored her sessions to fit our little situation. I have bragged about the sessions to other admins in our areas. Some of the instructions were familiar as I had followed her ideas for some time. Most are obtainable over time and will be implemented this coming year as we finish our season. My time with Shoshana at ADS, I would rate it First Class!” —Joy Bingham Strimple, Board President
