They could be your next audience member or donor…

Here is a quick thought for the day:

If you are on the side of hiring an employee, consultant, intern, etc., make sure you follow up with the people that did not get the job.  If you have a call for speakers, artists, etc., follow up with the people you do not choose.

They could be your next audience member or donor or perhaps the tables will be turned in the future when you need a job or opportunity.

You never know, and it is best to err on the side of impeccable customer service in these situations.

Treat everyone with courtesy the way you wish to be treated. The goodness will come back to you!

Cheers to happy and loyal audiences,
Shoshana

Colleen Tucker

“As an individual fine artist, the Audience Development workshop helped me take a hard look at how to reach people and how to keep them engaged. Performing artists have a built in "paying audience" which may be obvious but for me I have to generate my patrons one at a time. Finding a way to interest people in my art is a full time job; I found helpful tools that I had not considered during the workshop.” —Colleen Tucker, Pastel artist
