ADS update

I have some news!  I am currently working on book 2 which is the follow up of the first book.  My The How of Audience Development For the Arts was the beginning conversation, the nuts and bolts about audience development.  In book 2 are my thoughts, ideas and philosophies collected from my 5 years worth of posts on this blog.  It will also include a section of new writing that deals with my mindset for building audiences.

I hope to have the book out and about in a few months!

I am looking into print versions for both books.  I realize that an eBook has limited distribution and a print version will reach more people.

The third book that I was working on, What is Working for the Arts, will be transformed into another form of information.  After interviewing people from 9 interesting and innovative projects, I am finding that there is not enough data to present full cases.  Gathering the data might take another year or so, and in these times, the stories may not be as current.  What I can do, however, is turn some of these conversations into future podcasts.

Thank you, dear reader, and have a great weekend!

-Shoshana

Testimonials

Arizona Women’s Theatre Company (AZWTC)

“I loved the sessions and as I was taking them for my newly elected position, I felt I needed some close mentoring and strict goal setting..She absolutely did listen to our needs and tailored her sessions to fit our little situation. I have bragged about the sessions to other admins in our areas. Some of the instructions were familiar as I had followed her ideas for some time. Most are obtainable over time and will be implemented this coming year as we finish our season. My time with Shoshana at ADS, I would rate it First Class!” —Joy Bingham Strimple, Board President
